● 2.5–3 hours of dual instruction with landings at 2-3 Idaho backcountry airstrips
● In-flight training on precision approaches, soft-field techniques, and short takeoff performance

Prerequisites: Pilots with at Tailwheel Endorsement who are curious about backcountry flying but not ready for a full-day experience.

Overview: This package is an immersive deep-dive into backcountry aviation. Pilots will fly multiple legs across Idaho’s wilderness, experiencing the thrill of remote aviation with professional guidance.

● Pre-flight mission planning with a certified backcountry instructor
● 4–5 hours of dual instruction covering advanced mountain flying techniques
● Landings at 5+ backcountry strips, including higher-elevation locations
● Instruction on backcountry emergency preparedness and survival skills

Overnight Backcountry Expedition
Overview: The ultimate backcountry flying adventure, this overnight experience is designed for pilots seeking full immersion in off-grid flying, backcountry survival, and mountain strip operations. Pilots will not only fly to remote locations but also experience an overnight stay in the heart of Idaho’s rugged landscapes.
What’s Included:
● Pre-flight briefing and itinerary customization based on pilot experience level
● 4–5 hours of in-air instruction per day, covering advanced STOL techniques and emergency procedures
● Landings at 6–10 remote backcountry strips, with night operations where applicable
● Wilderness lodging accommodations (cabin, lodge, or backcountry campsite)
● Three meals per day, tailored to the remote environment
● Guided discussions on backcountry survival, aircraft performance at high density altitudes, and remote flight decision-making
● FAA WINGS credit for completion (if applicable)
● Post-flight debrief and logbook endorsement
